  • Australia: Youth Gathering

On October 11, 2025, a youth gathering was held with the theme of Korean Chuseok. Missionaries served as the MC, taught Korean language class, and guided the traditional Korean games.

A total of nine Blessed Second Generation youth participated in the event. After learning basic Korean, they enjoyed playing traditional games such as Tuho (arrow throwing) and jegichagi (Korean shuttlecock kicking). They also made and shared traditional Korean foods including songpyeon (rice cakes) and skewered pancakes, providing a rich experience of Korean culture.

In celebration of Chuseok, this gathering offered a meaningful opportunity to introduce Korean holiday traditions to the Blessed Second Generation in Australia and to deepen heart-to-heart connections while enjoying cultural activities together.

It was especially rewarding to teach the younger children Korean and to see them eventually read Korean words on their own, bringing a great sense of pride and joy.

  • Australia: Witnessing Workshop

This workshop, prepared by Rev John, UPA and HTG missionaries had two components: overview of the witnessing pipeline and the Cham Bumo Ron lectures. The aim of the workshop was for everyone to understand and learn how to introduce True Parents’ teaching effectively, to learn the step by step witnessing process, to prepare for upcoming witnessing events and to receive witnessing resources.

The missionaries worked very hard at creating 8 lectures to convey the full Cham Bumo Ron content in a clear, concise, easy to teach and easy to understand way, for anyone listening to it. During this time, all members received the link to the witnessing resources, giving everyone the opportunity to teach to their own contacts, thus being able to successfully expand our outreach activities, without relying only on the members based at the Peace Embassy.

Following the workshop, already some members who had never presented DP to anyone or had not done so in a long time, were able to sit down with their guests and share the Cham Bumo Ron content. As we know, it’s by giving that we receive, and being able to share True Parents’ teaching gives members a sense of spiritual emplowerment and rebirth.

As usual, the youth choir beautiful voices and songs could be heard by many people in the park, and a few stopped to listen.

Rev John spoke about God as the center of the family. While the traditional BBQ was prepared by a few volunteers, the youth organized team games for all generations together.

  • Australia: Witnessing Activities

With the opening of the Father and Mother of Peace Exhibition last month, and with the irreplaceable input of our UPA and HTG missionaries, the witnessing spirit in Sydney was revived and there has been a steady flow of first and second generation members going to the Peace Embassy, willing to testify to the life and works of our True Parents.

A few passers by who agreed to enter the Exhibition hall, ended up listening to lectures, committing to continue to study DP, and some later came to the Outing Service. A total of 53 guests visited the exhibition (October).

Members who now find it much easier to witness, are very grateful for the tremendous work of our leaders and all missionaries that was behind this witnessing revival.

  • Asia Pacific: 4th Pacific Christian Leadership Conference (PCLC) Anniversary Celebration

The Pacific Christian Leadership Conference (PCLC) commemorated its 4th anniversary on October 28, 2025, under the theme “Faith, Freedom, Peace.” The hybrid event, held at Seda Vertis North, Quezon City, Philippines, brought together 1,124 participants, including 40 clergy members from over 21 nations across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as representatives from Japan, the USA, and Korea. Participants joined both onsite and online via Zoom, Facebook, YouTube, and local watch parties.

The program opened with a warm welcome message from Rev. John Gregorio, followed by a heartfelt musical performance of “One Heart, My Redeemer” by the Solomon Islands Youth Singers. Rev. Masaichi Hori, PCLC Asia-Pacific Chairman, expressed his gratitude and reflections on PCLC’s four-year journey, encouraging continued unity and commitment to advancing religious freedom during these challenging times.

Congratulatory messages were also shared by PCLC Senior Advisers and clergy members, including Bishop Eliezer Zorilla, Rev. Fr. Alepo A. Tuisuga, and Rev. Bismarck Tamati, who emphasized the enduring values of faith, freedom, and peace that unite all participants.

A special message from Dr. Tanya Edwards, Director of International Affairs of the World Christian Leadership Conference (WCLC), highlighted the gathering’s core themes—faith, freedom, and peace. This was followed by inspiring testimonies from participants of the 2025 World Religious Leaders Special Conference in Korea: Archbishop Ambassador Dr. Nelson Pervaz, Preacher of the Interdenominational and Community Churches of Australia, and Rev. Bishop Dr. Suraphon Boonpratham, President of the Thai Evangelical Alliance Association of Thailand.

For the Founder’s Address, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, Mother of Peace, expressed her hope for clergy members to become leaders who will build a peaceful and free world without war or conflict—creating one family under God that attends to our Heavenly Parent and fulfills the hopes of both Heaven and humankind.

Dr. Robert S. Kittel, Founding Member and Senior Adviser of PCLC Asia-Pacific, delivered a special message reflecting on the current state of global religious freedom. He voiced concern over the continued oppression and unjust detainment of the Mother of Peace, urging collective action toward justice and liberty.

The celebration also featured a presentation of the PCLC Annual Report, highlighting the organization’s accomplishments over the past year. Dr. Julius Malicdem, Vice Chairman of PCLC Asia-Pacific, extended his appreciation to members for their dedication and collective efforts in advancing the organization’s vision. Next was a Musical Offering entitled “Goodness of God” by HTG Asia Pacific, followed by the Closing Message from Rev. Fr. Edgardo De Jesus, Roman Catholic Priest, Philippines. The Closing Prayer was led by Msgr. Joseph Lalo, culminating in a unison prayer where everyone formed a large circle and held hands together.

The event also included the Appointment Ceremony of the new PCLC Senior Advisers and concluded with a Recessional Song — “Monarch Butterfly” — performed by HTG Asia Pacific Missionaries alongside a video presentation featuring Shin Chul Nim and Shin Heung Nim, symbolizing harmony, gratitude, and hope for the future.
