Philippines: 1st FGD Sunday Youth Ministry
The FGD Sunday Youth Ministry was held on October 12, 2025, at the UPF Peace Embassy, Quezon City, organized by the Future Generation Department (FGD) of FFWPU Philippines in collaboration with the Heavenly Top Gun (HTG) Korea Team. The program aimed to nurture the faith of the youth and deepen their connection with Heavenly Parent through music, language learning, and faith-sharing.
The program opened with a Korean song practice featuring “Monarch Butterfly (제왕나비, Jewang Nabi)”, setting a warm and engaging atmosphere that encouraged unity and participation. This was followed by a Korean language lecture led by Ms. Kim Kana of HTG Korea, introducing the participants to the Korean alphabet (Hangul) and simple expressions. These interactive sessions allowed the youth to experience Korean language and culture in a creative and meaningful way.
A short break and food-sharing session followed, giving participants time to bond and connect in a joyful atmosphere.
The Pure Love testimony was shared by Ms. Juliza Carias, a second-generation member, who spoke on the importance of purity in heart, mind, and relationships. She reminded everyone that true love begins with understanding Heavenly Parent’s heart and living a life centered on principles, inspiring the youth to pursue sincerity, respect, and faith in their daily lives.
The closing message was delivered by Mr. Jun Young Teves, Director of the Future Generation Department, who emphasized the importance of working together to create a culture where youth can grow in faith and mutual support. He encouraged everyone to continue building a loving community rooted in Heavenly Parent’s ideals.
The event concluded with a heartfelt performance of “제왕나비 (Jewang Nabi)”, leaving participants inspired, united, and determined to live out their faith as one family under Heavenly Parent. As the youth prepared for the subsequent Sunday Service, they continued singing together with joy and energy.
The FGD Sunday Youth Ministry is envisioned as a regular weekly activity, held every Sunday morning before the service, gathering young people to grow in faith, fellowship, and preparation for worship with renewed passion.
